Meet our Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Misty Kurtzman
Mrs.Kurtzman has been teaching kindergarten since 2016. She is a graduate of Ashland University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Kurtzman is not only a teacher, but a parent and a devoted Christian. Her husband Jeff and she have been married for many years and have two children; a daughter Ryleigh and a son Jackson.
They live in Shelby and LOVE cheering on our Shelby teams! She is patient and kind and creative. She loves her job and seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they realize that they have discovered or learned something new! She loves how children are so forgiving and agrees we all need to be more like them.
Please feel free to contact her if you have any questions, concerns, or if you want to share ideas at 419-342-2626, on Class Dojo, or by email at mkurtzman@stmaryshelby.org
